Dallas Observer cover!

I was finally able to do a cover for the Dallas observer December 29th - Janurary 4, 2012 issue to help the Observer wrap up 2011 in music. Thanks to Alex Flores for always giving the best art direction. Enjoy!

Artopia 2011

So I've been working with The Bodega Negra alot lately and we were given the opportunity to do a wrap for one of the Dallas Observer Newstands recently in an effort to hype up the 2nd Dallas Artopia. Here's some flicks of how it turned out. 

Austin City Limits

Here's an illustration for the austin city limits festival. Not sure if it would be considered a festival or a show but yeah. This was done via the Observer and thus via Alex Flores' art direction which is amazing as always. Enjoy!

Dallas kicks off the Warped Tour!

This year for 2011, Dallas got to be the hosts of the 2011 Vans Warped Tour. This was awesome for 2 reasons:

A) Nostalgia
B) I got to do another illustration for the Dallas Observer!

Awkward drawing!

Here's another illustration I did for the Dallas Observer blog the other week. This one is about a "controversial" lawyer in TX who's "going after" internet porn-pirates. Apparently he's trying to strong arm these "porn-pirates," I dunno. Needless to say there was only so much I could actually illustrate for this doodle so I tried to make it as awkward as possible. Enjoy!

More Observer!

I recently had another opportunity to do a spot illustration for the local paper, "The Observer." It was an article on a local music hot spot where DIY thrives and gangsters unite.......in dallas. Gangsters in dallas; i was confused too but nonetheless intrigued. So here's my illustration, pick one up while you still can! Enjoy!
